Cant get this IPCONFIG command to display between <p></p> HTML tags
To display the output of the ipconfig
command between <p></p>
HTML tags, you can use a combination of command redirection and HTML file generation. Here's an example of how you can achieve this using a batch script:
batch@echo off
:: Run the ipconfig command and redirect the output to a temporary text file
ipconfig > temp.txt
:: Create an HTML file
echo ^<html^> > output.html
echo ^<body^> >> output.html
echo ^<p^> >> output.html
:: Read the contents of the temporary text file and append it to the HTML file
type temp.txt >> output.html
:: Close the HTML tags
echo ^</p^> >> output.html
echo ^</body^> >> output.html
echo ^</html^> >> output.html
:: Delete the temporary text file
del temp.txt
:: Open the generated HTML file in the default web browser
start output.html
When you run this batch script, it will execute the ipconfig
command and redirect the output to a temporary text file called temp.txt
. Then, it will generate an HTML file called output.html
and append the contents of temp.txt
between the <p>
and </p>
HTML tags. Finally, it will open the output.html
file in the default web browser.
You can customize the HTML file generation part to format the output as desired, such as applying CSS styles, adding additional HTML tags, etc.
Save the script with a .bat
extension (e.g., ipconfig_html.bat
) and run it. It will display the ipconfig
output in an HTML file between the <p>
tags.
