Enabling remote through CMD or POWERSHELL in WMI
To enable remote management through CMD or PowerShell in WMI, you need to configure the following settings:
Enable the Remote Administration firewall rule: You can use the following command in PowerShell to enable the Remote Administration firewall rule:
arduinoEnable-NetFirewallRule -DisplayGroup "Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)"
Enable the Remote Administration WMI Namespace: You can use the following command in CMD or PowerShell to enable the Remote Administration WMI Namespace:
arduinosc config winmgmt start= auto
net start winmgmt
This will enable the WMI service and set it to start automatically.
Add the necessary user accounts to the Distributed COM Users group: You can use the following command in PowerShell to add a user to the Distributed COM Users group:
sqlAdd-LocalGroupMember -Group "Distributed COM Users" -Member "Domain\User"
Replace "Domain\User" with the actual domain and username of the user you want to add to the group.
Once these settings are configured, you should be able to remotely manage WMI.
