Get Subversion repository size
To get the size of a Subversion repository, you can use the svnadmin
command-line tool. Here's how you can do it:
Open Command Prompt:
Open a Command Prompt window on your system.Navigate to Repository Directory:
Change the directory to the location of your Subversion repository. For example:shellcd C:\Path\To\Your\Repository
Use
svnadmin
Command:
Run the following command to get the size of the repository:shellsvnadmin info --show-size-stats .
Replace
.
with the path to the repository if you're not already in the repository directory.
The output of the command will provide information about the size of the repository in bytes, as well as other relevant statistics.
Please note that this command gives you the raw size of the repository, including metadata, revision history, and so on. If you want to get an estimate of the working copy size (the files checked out from the repository), you would need to check the size of the checked-out directory on your local system.
