Hololens - UserConsentVerifier not working on Hololens 1st Generation
The UserConsentVerifier
API is not available on the first-generation Microsoft HoloLens device. The UserConsentVerifier
API is part of the Windows.Security.Credentials.UI namespace and provides a way to verify the user's consent for certain operations, such as biometric authentication.
However, the first-generation HoloLens device does not support built-in biometric authentication features like fingerprint or face recognition, which are typically used with the UserConsentVerifier
API. Therefore, attempting to use the UserConsentVerifier
API on a first-generation HoloLens device will not work.
If you require user consent or authentication on a first-generation HoloLens device, you would need to consider alternative methods or UI elements for capturing user consent or implementing authentication, such as using custom UI elements or relying on other types of input or interaction mechanisms supported by the HoloLens platform.
It's important to note that the availability of certain APIs or features may vary depending on the device and its hardware capabilities. Always refer to the device-specific documentation and SDKs to determine the supported APIs and features for a particular device.
