How do I pipe commands into Inkscape --shell in windows cmd?
In Windows CMD, you can pipe commands into the Inkscape shell by using the echo
command to pass the input to Inkscape. Here's an example:
bashecho <command> | inkscape --shell
Replace <command>
with the command you want to pass to Inkscape. The echo
command outputs the command to the console, and the |
(pipe) symbol sends the output of echo
as input to the inkscape --shell
command.
For instance, if you want to execute the export-png
command in Inkscape shell and pass it a filename and output path, you can use the following syntax:
arduinoecho export-png "input.svg" --export-filename="output.png" | inkscape --shell
In this example, export-png
is the command to export an SVG file as a PNG image. "input.svg"
represents the input filename, and --export-filename="output.png"
specifies the output filename.
By using the echo
command and piping it into inkscape --shell
, you can pass commands and their arguments to Inkscape in Windows CMD.
