Install Cypress after Windows reinstalling
If you have reinstalled Windows and need to install Cypress again, you can follow these steps:
Install Node.js: Cypress is built on top of Node.js, so you'll need to install it first. Go to the Node.js website and download the latest stable version for Windows.
Install Cypress using npm: Once Node.js is installed, open a command prompt and run the following command to install Cypress using npm:
cssnpm install cypress --save-dev
This will download and install the latest version of Cypress and save it as a development dependency in your project's package.json
file.
- Verify the installation: After installation, run the following command to verify that Cypress is installed and working properly:
npx cypress verify
This will check if Cypress is installed correctly and display the version number.
- Set up Cypress: To set up Cypress for your project, run the following command:
arduinonpx cypress open
This will open the Cypress Test Runner, where you can create and run your tests.
Note: If you have any issues with the installation or running of Cypress, make sure to check the official Cypress documentation and troubleshooting guide.
