Is there a way to run multiple powershell scripts in different tabs in windows terminal?
Yes, you can run multiple PowerShell scripts in different tabs within Windows Terminal. Here's how you can achieve this:
Open Windows Terminal.
In the Windows Terminal interface, you'll see a "+" button on the tab bar. Click on the "+" button to open a new tab.
By default, the new tab will have a PowerShell session running. You can run your first PowerShell script in this tab.
To open another tab, click on the "+" button again.
In the new tab, you can either choose the PowerShell profile or select a different profile like Command Prompt or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
Run your second PowerShell script or any other command in this new tab.
Repeat the process for as many PowerShell scripts as you want, opening a new tab for each script or command.
Alternatively, you can also open multiple PowerShell tabs by using keyboard shortcuts:
- To open a new tab: Press
Ctrl+Shift+T
. - To switch between tabs: Press
Ctrl+Tab
to cycle through the open tabs.
This way, you can have multiple PowerShell scripts running simultaneously in different tabs within Windows Terminal.
