Post-installation script in Jpackage for Windows
Comment
1 / 1
Post-installation scripts can be run in JPackage for Windows using the post-install
argument.
The post-install
argument can be added to the jpackage
command followed by the path to a script file. For example:
cssjpackage --input "path/to/input/files" --name "MyApp" --main-jar "MyApp.jar" --main-class "com.example.MyApp" --type msi --win-shortcut --win-menu --icon "path/to/icon.ico" --post-install "path/to/post-install-script.bat"
In this example, the post-install
argument is followed by the path to a batch script file that will be executed after the installation is complete.
The script file should contain the commands that need to be executed after the installation is complete. The script can use any valid Windows command or PowerShell command to perform tasks such as modifying registry settings, creating files or folders, or launching applications.
