Use "perl6" command with Git Bash on windows
To use the perl6
command with Git Bash on Windows, you need to follow these steps:
Install Rakudo Perl 6: Visit the Rakudo Perl 6 website (https://rakudo.org) and download the Windows installer for Rakudo Perl 6. Run the installer and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
Set up the Perl 6 executable: After installing Rakudo Perl 6, you need to set up the Perl 6 executable (
perl6
) in the system's PATH environment variable.Open Git Bash and run the following command to open the
.bashrc
file in your home directory:bashnano ~/.bashrc
In the
.bashrc
